The 9th Annual Military Aviation & Air Dominance Summit will convene senior-level experts and decision-makers from across the U.S. Military Services, the Department of War, International Partners, Acquisition Authorities, and Industry for a Joint Service discussion on strategies, initiatives, and emerging capabilities critical for enhancing lethality and restoring the warrior ethos in pursuit of total air dominance. Amid a dynamic and shifting global landscape shaped by lessons from, Ukraine, and the Middle East, the U.S. Military Services are undergoing a strategic reorientation to maintain and expand air superiority over increasingly sophisticated adversaries, reshaping the balance between manned aviation, unmanned systems, and the divestiture of legacy platforms.

The summit provides a unique opportunity to hear from senior leaders on how military services, in collaboration with international partners and industry, are modernizing platforms to enhance lethality and ensure air superiority in a dynamic and shifting global landscape.

This year’s Summit will examine how the military services, in partnership with industry and global partners, are modernizing aviation platforms and enhancing aircraft technology to empower air superiority, with a specific focus on boosting overall air lethality and readiness. Attendees will hear directly from senior leaders on current and future strategies to field the MV-75 FLRAA Cheyenne as the future long-range assault aircraft, modernize the Black Hawk fleet for a networked, UAS-enabled battlefield, and align Naval Aviation’s new Portfolio Acquisition Executive construct with a Warfighting Acquisition System built for high-end maritime conflict. The 2027 Summit will also feature dedicated discussion on the industrial base and readiness challenges underpinning both legacy and next-generation fleets, including MRO throughput, advanced manufacturing, and forging and composite supply chains that keep aircraft mission-capable while new platforms scale into service. Sessions will address how digital engineering, model-based systems engineering, and digital twins are accelerating design, sustainment, and training across the aviation lifecycle.

The Summit is open and complimentary to all DoW and Federal employees and is considered an educational and training forum
